Volunteer duties have included: working with homeowners to develop house designs, consulting with the Board of Directors on design and construction policy and Energy Star compliance, advising college students on projects, on-site supervision of volunteer workers, and monitoring construction for plan, specification, and energy-efficient compliance. Volunteer as needed for transportation, holiday meals, elderly visits.

2001–2002
Managed the renovation of 10,000 ft² historic building into a high-performance passive solar heated office and community center. Most of construction was carried out by volunteers. Much of the materials and equipment rental was in-kind donations. Partial waiver of professional fees.
